A Level 2 charger is the fastest way to charge an electric vehicle at home, often several times faster than plugging into a standard outlet. It needs a dedicated 240-volt circuit sized for the charger, and your electrical panel has to have the capacity to support it.
Valencia Electric installs EV chargers for homes and businesses across Dallas, done safely and to code.
What we install
- Hardwired Level 2 wall chargers from most major brands
- 240-volt outlets for plug-in chargers
- Dedicated circuits run to the garage, carport or driveway
- Indoor and outdoor rated installations
- Chargers for commercial parking and fleet vehicles
How it works
- We check your panel’s capacity and the best location for the charger.
- If the panel is full or undersized, we recommend options such as a panel upgrade or subpanel.
- We install the circuit and charger, pull the permit when required, and test everything before we leave.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a panel upgrade for an EV charger?
Sometimes. A Level 2 charger needs a large dedicated circuit, and some older or full panels don’t have room or capacity. We check your panel first and tell you whether an upgrade or subpanel is needed.
Can you install a charger I already bought?
Yes. We install most brands of Level 2 home chargers, whether you buy it yourself or want a recommendation.
Hardwired charger or a 240-volt outlet?
Both work. A hardwired charger is often a cleaner install and can allow higher charging power; an outlet lets you unplug and move the charger. We can explain the trade-offs for your car and garage.
